DAY 1: MARRAKESH-WATERFALLS OF OUZOUD-BENI MELLAL
Transport to the pretty waterfalls of Ouzoud and the Abra Gorges, with stops to admire the imposing scenery of the Middle Atlas, passing the Bin el Ouidane Lake, until arriving in the city of Beni Mellal. Dinner and accommodation in a double room in a four star hotel.
DAY 2: BENI MELLAL - KHENIFRA - MEKNES - FEZ
Road trip to Meknes, a visit to the city and transport to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. A walk through the Roman city and arrival in Fez. Dinner and accommodation in a double room in a five star hotel.
DAY 3: FEZ
In the morning, a guided tour of the city of FEZ. Its architectural riches, its fascinating medina and its magnificent historic monuments make FEZ the cultural capital of Morocco. Dinner and accommodation in a double room in a five star hotel.
DAY 4: FES - ARFOUD
We will leave FEZ to travel south crossing: the cedar forest, the port of MIDELT, the reservoir at ERRACHIDIA, the magnificent panoramic view in the valley of ZIZ, and arrival at the city of ERFOUD (the gateway to the desert). Dinner and accommodation in the KASBAH HOTEL CHERGUI.
DAY 5: ARFOUD - MERZOUGA
A day's journey through real desert, starting with a visit to the fossil quarry, the desert Oases and arrival in the evening at the golden dunes of Merzouga, where we will leave the 4x4 and will ride on camelback to see the sunset from the peak of the great dune. Dinner and accommodation in an Arab camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. A magical night beneath the stars.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TINERHIR
After breakfast, we will leave the dunes by tracks and we will see: The 2 MERZOUGA oases, nomads in Jaimas, the village of KHAMLIA ("the village of Black men"), the mines of MIFISS, and desert plateaus before taking the track to the town of RISSANI with its large authentic market. After visiting the market, we will continue towards the spectacular, legendary TODRA Gorges. Dinner and Accommodation in a four star hotel.
DAY 7: TINERHIR - JBEL SARHRO - ZAGORA
Breathtaking lunar landscapes at the Jbel Sarro, with rocky pinnacles at an altitude of 2,000 metres and an oasis in unbelievable canyons. A high-mountain route to enjoy riding and admiring this beautiful pre-desert area, until arriving at the palm grove of the Draa River, with more than 150 km of palm trees. Dinner and accommodation in a RIAD or four star HOTEL.
DAY 8: ZAGORA - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH
Setting off towards the High Atlas by track and through the villages of the valley of the Draa river, passing the town of Agdz until arriving at the very famous Kasbah of AÏT BENHADDOU where several international films have been shot, such as Obelix, Gladiator, Sahara.then we will visit the Kasbah connected by road to the red town of MARRAKESH, crossing the High Atlas by the Tizi N'Tichka pass at an altitude of 2,600 m. Dinner and Accommodation in a four star RIAD.
DAY 9: MARRAKECH
A visit to the city of MARRAKESH: its old medina, its main historic sights (tombs and mosques), its kasbahs, its famous Jemaa el Fna square... You will realise that Marrakesh is the capital of tourism. Accommodation in a four star riad. Dinner in a restaurant with a belly-dancing performance.
DAY 10: MARRAKECH - BARCELONA
Transfer to Marrakesh airport to catch the flight from MARRAKESH to BCN/MAD. |
